I love beaches! The refreshing view of the blue water and white sand, the sound of the waves, makes me feel good. Here’s a list of beautiful beaches you might want to add to your travel bucket list when in the Philippines:
Balabac is first on my list. The sand is so powdery and it really left me in awe.
2. Boracay Island, Aklan
One of the most popular tourist spots in the world. I love this island, except for the fact that it’s overcrowded and more expensive. The peak season is from February to May and low season is from June to September. For me, December is the best month to come here.
The whale shark is a slow-moving, filter-feeding carpet shark and the largest known extant fish species.
Sumilon Island
The 24-hectare coral island, located on the Southeastern tip of Cebu, is home to Sumilon Bluewater. Pristine white sand beaches abound. Its sandbar is known for its changing shapes and shifting locations around the island, depending on the season. There is a natural lagoon teeming with high mangroves.

On the south side, a lighthouse rests on a protected tree park and a “Baluarte,” a 19th century historical watch-tower. It is also home to the Philippines first marine sanctuary.
